About the rooms and hotel facilities
Q: How many people can the room occupy?
A: 2 adults (and one child under 12 if sharing existing bedding)
Q: Can I add an extra bed?
A: Rollaways are available but subject to room type and availabilities. Charges apply.
Q: Do you offer flexible check-in / check-out times?
A: We try to meet all our guest requirements. Our flexible check-in / check-out times are subject to availability.
Q: Do you allow pets in the hotel?
A: Nope sorry :(
Q: Do you have baby cots and what is the cost?
A: Yes and they are free of charge but are subject to availability.
Q: Where do you serve breakfast?
A: Breakfast is served at the Societe café, right next door to the hotel entrance.
Q: What time do you serve breakfast?
A: Breakfast is available Monday to Friday between 6:30am-10:30am; and Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays between 7am-10:30am.
Q: What time does your gym open?
A: It is opened 24 hours.

Q: Is there parking available?
A: Valet parking is available at a rate of $45.00 per car per day. This is a 24-hour car park and is available to all hotel guests, conference centre clients and visitors, and Emporium precinct diners and customers. ADDITIONAL PARKING OPTIONS - Secure Parking (500m walk to The Valley Hotel) McLachlan and Ann Streets, entrance via Connor Street. - Paid Street Parking (Ann Street, Wickham Street and Brookes Street) - The surrounding Emporium Precinct has a strict two-hour parking limit. These areas are tow-away zones after two hours. Please read signs and note conditions of parking. Please note parking is at owner’s risk.
Q: Are there any bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood?
A: Brisbane is an awesome city with an abundance of attractions, from the natural beauty of our parklands and river, to world-class galleries, dining, shopping and entertainment. Just ask our team for personalised recommendations based on your requirements.
Q: How does payment work?
A: We accept credit card (VISA, Diners, Master, AMEX, JCB) cash and bank transfer. For non-refundable booking we require the payment in advance. We will charge the given credit card for the full amount once the booking is made. For all flexible bookings we will hold the given credit card for 1 night rental as guarantee. The room rental and deposit will be required upon check in.
Q: What if I wish to pay by cash?
A: For non-refundable bookings a valid credit card must be used to pay at the time of booking. We will only hold the full amount from the card (not yet charged) until the guest settles the full rental upon check in by cash. For flexible bookings we will hold the given credit card for 1 night rental as guarantee. The guest can settle the deposit and rental upon check in by cash.
Q: What if I don’t have a credit card, how can I make my booking?
A: Sorry, a credit card must be provided as a guarantee for all bookings.
Q: Can I shorten the stay after check-in?
A: For non-refundable bookings we will charge the full amount even if the guest checks out early. We are unable to refund the remaining room rental. For flexible bookings the guest can advise our hotel by giving 24 hours in advance notice prior to 2:00pm to shorten the stay.
Q: Can I use my friend’s credit card to make the booking?
A: No, a credit card and valid photo ID MUST be produced at check-in, in the name of the guest and matching the booking.
Q: Can I book the room for a special event e.g. wedding / birthday party / photo shoot?
A: Yes. Contact the hotel directly regarding the special activities and arrangement. Extra charges may apply.
